WINE CORK SPECIFICATION

Showercork Premium™ uses only Premium - Grade A corks. Though this is the most expensive option, we feel that the consistency in the raw material benefits the products’ water resiliency, its memory and bounce back, and it’s aesthetics by keeping the imperfections and voids to a minimum as the grout will fill these voids.

Showercork Conglomerate™ takes cork granules that are mixed with a stable, inert, and durable PVA adhesive, and compresses the granules into a conglomerate sheet prior to cutting out the cork. The Conglomerate is slightly more dense the Premium due to the fact the holes are essentially crushed and removed. Aesthetically, this produces a more consistent look due to the process used to achieve the granulation.
